Cookie Policy

Last updated: July 2025

The short version

TransitGlow uses only essential analytics cookies. We do not use advertising, tracking, or third-party marketing cookies. No cookie consent banner is required for analytics-only cookies under the ePrivacy Directive, as we have implemented these in a privacy-preserving way.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. They help the site remember information about your visit — like which pages you viewed or your preferences.

TransitGlow is a Progressive Web App (PWA) built as a single HTML file. We use browser storage minimally and responsibly.

We do not use: advertising cookies, retargeting pixels (Facebook Pixel, Google Ads), social media tracking cookies, or any third-party marketing tools.

Vercel Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate usage patterns — how many people visit the site, which pages are popular, and what devices are used. This data is:

  • Anonymised — no personally identifiable information is collected
  • Not linked to individual users or booking records
  • Used only for improving the service
  • Processed by Vercel in accordance with their Privacy Policy

Vercel Analytics is configured in a privacy-first mode that does not require cookie consent under the EU ePrivacy Directive, as it uses no persistent tracking identifiers.

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Note that disabling cookies will not affect your ability to use TransitGlow — our booking flow works without cookies.

Legal basis

Our use of analytics cookies falls under the legitimate interests basis (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) — we have a legitimate interest in understanding how our service is used in order to improve it. The analytics data collected is anonymised and not linked to individual users.

For more information on how we handle your personal data more broadly, see our Privacy Policy.

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Please check back periodically.
